schedules, rates, online registration, as well as helpful links
for other educational resources for home schoolers.
I believe
the Lord expects us to be good stewards of all He has given us
- including intellect. I believe we honor Him when we "work
hard at whatever we do…" (Eccl. 9:1) and become the
best we can become (2 Tim. 2:15), well prepared for any service
He desires of us.
Exciting News!!!

So far I have heard from nine of my students who took the 2008 PSAT/SAT with scores of 216 218, 222, 222, 222, 226, 226, 226,231 – scores which qualify them as 2010 Nat’l Merit Scholar Semifinalists/Finalists. Several of these and other students made perfect scores on the sections of Math, Writing, and Critical Reading. Several other students scored high enough to earn Commended Student status and several other students scored high enough to earn Nat’l Hispanic Scholar status. I have also heard from one 11th grader who scored 2240 on his SAT and a 12th grader who scored 2260 on hers!

30% of last year’s students had already taken this Prep course once or twice, but chose to take it again, because students’ scores continue to increase as their mastery level increases.

The Upsilon Eta Chapter of
Eta Sigma Alpha
Home School Honor Society is sponsored by TAFA and is a wonderful addition to any academic resume.
Requirements:

Must be in 9th-12 th grade.

Must have 3.5 GPA or higher and provide a transcript.

1800 or higher on SAT;
180 or higher on PSAT
-
90% or higher on Composite Score of SAT or Iowa Test
of Basic Skills

Must have 2 letters of
recommendation (one can be from parent)

Must write a statement explaining why they wish to be a member
-
Must complete 10 hours of community service each year they are a member.

Dues are $15.00 per year.
